New faces join the collection

Dionysus

This release we welcome four new face beads, from Ocean Goddess, Earth Goddess, Dionysus and one yet to be made. She was originally inspired by the Queen of that damned but as designs sometimes go in other ways, I am yet to decide!

I had started with Flora in hopes to create a three piece in the series but found ideas rushing for other members to join. Some are smaller then others but each unique. With Flora now retired it sets the path for others to be met.

Ocean goddess had originally set to be the third addition to Flora and Fauna, but I soon realised she was something else entirely, but also that she didn't have a stone so could not be the third and final piece, my Aquaria, that I had been thinking about. So hence the Ocean Goddess was born.

Same with Earth Goddess, I could of easily gone another way and said Ocean Goddess and Earth Goddess were in fact Aquaria and a remade Flora, but it didn't sit right as they both had a different vibe for me. So I decided these two pieces will be the start of something different.

They say inspiration can come from many places, Dionysus was inspired from my friend who actually shared a cast iron Dionysus wall display she had in her garden, I instantly fell in love, as well as will the story she shared about her street being named Bacchus, The Roman name for Dionysus. But also my love for Gods in general. I am not an expert, but feel moved by stories and the history.

The fourth new face was yet to be shared. She just recently made her debut as I was not sure what the call her and she again came out with a different vibe I had intended for her. She was to be part of a Halloween release but realised she is much too beautiful for that, and so she was name African Goddess as that was much fitting then my intended Queen of the damned. So back to the drawing board I go..
